Employees working at least 20 hours a week are eligible to receive between 6 to 18 weeks of paid parental leave based on tenure of employment at the time of the birth or adoption of a child.

Effective October 1, 2020, Enjoy will offer the following paid Parental Leave benefits:

  • Less than 1 month tenure at Birth/Adoption - 6 weeks maximum paid parental leave available

  • Less than 2 month tenure at Birth/Adoption - 8 weeks maximum paid parental leave available

  • Less than 3 month tenure at Birth/Adoption - 10 weeks maximum paid parental leave available

  • Less than 4 month tenure at Birth/Adoption - 12 weeks maximum paid parental leave available

  • Less than 5 month tenure at Birth/Adoption - 14 weeks maximum paid parental leave available

  • Less than 6 month tenure at Birth/Adoption - 16 weeks maximum paid parental leave available

  • More than 6 month tenure at Birth/Adoption - 18 weeks maximum paid parental leave available

The maximum leave duration will not be adjusted in the event of the birth or adoption of more than one child. If both parents work for Enjoy, they can split the maximum leave duration available based on the longest tenure of either parent, at time of birth/adoption.  Mothers certified to be disabled due to pregnancy prior to delivery, or for longer than the maximum leave entitlement based on tenure, may qualify for up to an additional 5 weeks of pregnancy leave.

Parental Leave is payable at 100% of regular base salary, offset by any other paid leave benefits you may be entitled to receive. This benefit is a paid leave benefit only, and will run concurrent with FMLA and/or applicable state or municipal leave entitlements.  Parental Leave will also run concurrent with any other paid leave benefit available, including Short-Term Disability and applicable state or municipal paid leave benefits.  Employees MUST file claim(s) with all applicable Disability and/or state leave benefits in order to receive 100% pay for the full leave duration.

Parental Leave may be taken as one continuous leave, or in installments in as small as 2-week absences with advance notice, not to exceed the maximum leave entitlement based on tenure at time of birth or adoption.  Leave must be taken within the first year of the child’s birth or adoption.

Notes

In the event of birth / adoption / placement of more than one child, the maximum paid parental leave benefit will be 18 weeks

If both parents work for Enjoy, they can split the 18 weeks of paid parental leave
