Learn how Enjoy supports growing families
Effective January 1, 2022, employees working 20 hours/week qualify for 18 weeks of paid Parental Leave after completing 90 days of employment. You must meet the tenure requirements before your child's birth or adoption. Parental Leave may be taken any time within the first year after the birth or adoption of a child.

Enjoy Parental Leave
Welcoming a new member into your family is a milestone.
Our policy entitles parents to 18 weeks parental leave for
the birth or adoption of a child

Parental Leave may be taken as one continuous leave, or in two-week installments (with leadership approval) up to 18 weeks leave.

The maximum leave duration will not be adjusted in the event of the birth or adoption of more than one child.

Enjoy Parental Leave
You receive 100% your base pay. You may will to file with your state for benefits to get the full entitlement

You will receive 100% your base pay; however, your pay will be offset by any other paid leave benefits you may be eligible to receive.

This benefit runs concurrent with other leave entitlements and will supplement other paid leave benefits. You MUST file claim(s) with all applicable state leave benefits in order to receive up to 100% pay for the full leave duration.

Note that you MUST file a claim with The Hartford as well as your individual state (if listed above) to receive 100% pay.

Enjoy Paid Pregnancy Disability Leave
If necessary, you are eligible for 8 weeks of leave that runs concurrent with Enjoy Disability benefits.

If you become disabled due to pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical condition, you are eligible for up to 8 continuous weeks of Enjoy Paid Pregnancy Disability Leave.

This benefit runs concurrent with other leave entitlements and will supplement your disability benefits under Enjoy's Short Term Disability plan (and State Disability benefits). You MUST file claim(s) with Enjoy's Short Term Disability plan (and State Disability benefits) in order to receive the Enjoy Paid Pregnancy Disability Leave supplement.

Time off prior to delivery that is not approved under the Enjoy Short Term Disability policy is not eligible for Enjoy Paid Pregnancy Disability Leave, and must be taken as unpaid leave or PTO.

Notes
In the event of birth / adoption / placement of more than one child, the maximum paid parental leave benefit will be 18 weeks
If both parents work for Enjoy, they can split the 18 weeks of paid parental leave, if they both meet tenure requirements
Mothers certified to be disabled due to pregnancy prior to delivery, or for longer than the 18 weeks parental leave entitlement, may qualify for up to an additional 5 weeks of pregnancy leave

2021 Parental Leave Policy
If your child was born or placed with you for adoption prior to January 1, 2022, you are only eligible for benefits under the Parental Leave policy that was effective at the time of birth/placement. In 2021, Enjoy offered paid Parental Leave benefits to employees working at least 20 hours/week as follows:

Less than 1 month tenure at Birth/Adoption - 6 weeks maximum paid parental leave available

Less than 2 month tenure at Birth/Adoption - 8 weeks maximum paid parental leave available

Less than 3 month tenure at Birth/Adoption - 10 weeks maximum paid parental leave available

Less than 4 month tenure at Birth/Adoption - 12 weeks maximum paid parental leave available

Less than 5 month tenure at Birth/Adoption - 14 weeks maximum paid parental leave available

Less than 6 month tenure at Birth/Adoption - 16 weeks maximum paid parental leave available

More than 6 month tenure at Birth/Adoption - 18 weeks maximum paid parental leave available
