Making Changes During the Year

Learn what to do if you need to make changes to your elections during the year

Once you enroll, you may not change your benefit elections or cancel coverage until the next Open Enrollment period (in the Fall 2021 for the 2022 plan year), except as a result of a “qualified status change” and other types of changes that qualify. Sample of status changes include the following:

Marriage

Formation of a qualifying domestic partnership

Divorce

Birth

Death of a dependent

Change in employment status

Loss or gain in a dependent’s eligibility for coverage

You must make changes to your coverage and provide proof of the event to Enjoy within 30 days from the date of the event.

Get the following documents ready for when you make changes:

Spouse

Registered Domestic Partner

Natural Child

Adopted Child

Stepchild

Dependent Child of RDP

Foster Child

Disabled Dependent Child over Age 26

Marriage Certificate

Registered Domestic Partnership Certificate

Birth Certificate

Adoption Decree

Birth Certificate

Birth Certificate

Court Documents and Last Tax Return

Birth Certificate, Proof of Condition, and Last Tax Return
